A press release from Bensalem Township Police about an alleged theft incident in April at Walmart garnered a number of tipsters to identify the suspects depicted in the release.

Wednesday Police filed arrest warrants for the man and woman shown in the pictures,  identified by readers, with the woman suspect commenting under the press release.

Paige Eiseman 32, and Nicholas Palmer, 25 are being charged with two theft related counts each by Police.

As of Thursday morning, according to online court records, neither has been taken into custody by Police.

Eiseman, according to comments made on a social media profile bearing a pictorial likeness to the suspect identified in the press release, said the incident at Walmart was a misunderstanding.

Commenters who acknowledged knowing the woman for many years pleaded with her to turn herself in so she could get help for an alleged substance use disorder.

Detective Sgt Glen Vandergrift said Tuesday night prior to the arrest warrants being filed “we have received numerous tips with her name. We will be following up.”

There is no excuse to steal, but the truth is, SNAP doesnt cover toiletries, napkins, soaps, etc. We need a 30 dollar monthly toiletry stipend.
