Bensalem 7-Eleven Robbery Suspect Tracked Through Ride Share, Arrested and Jailed

In a little less than four days Bensalem Police were able to identify and arrest a suspected gun-point robber.

Victor Lanar Gibbs III, 19 of Bensalem was arrested, arraigned and jailed Thursday, charged with four robbery counts, one count of possession of a weapon and four theft related offenses.

He is accused of robbing the 7-Eleven located at 2364 Street Road. last Sunday in the early morning.

Police said in a press release Thursday, that they were able to determine Gibbs III arrived at the 7 Eleven via a ride share vehicle.

Police allege Gibbs III pointed a gun employees and demanded money, as well as the victim’s cell phones during the robbery.

“Utilizing various forms of technology,” Detectives were able to identify Gibbs III as the suspect and subsequently filed an arrest warrant and Bensalem Police took Gibbs III mnto custody at his Bensalem home

Magisterial District Judge Joseph Falcone arraigned  the would robbery suspect setting bail at 10 percent of $750,000.00. Gibbs III was unable to post bail and was sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility where he awaits a preliminary hearing set for January 18 in front of District Judge Michael W. Gallagher, according to court records.
