Bensalem Approves Grant Applications for First Responders Field

Bensalem Township Council last week voted to approve applying for grants for First Responders Field.

The park was acquired by the Township last year and is currently being renovated.

One of the upgrades being sought with new grants is the field becoming an artificial turf, as opposed to grass.

Restoration of the park’s soccer field, a renovated irrigation system, and a resurfaced parking lot are just a few fixes to the park property that are being made after last year’s renaming.
