Bensalem Authorities Arrest 8 Juveniles from Philadelphia After “Crime Spree”

Bensalem Police announced last week the arrest of eight Philadelphia juveniles on a “crime spree” according to authorities.

On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at approximately 3:19 a.m., Bensalem Police responded to a burglary in progress at the Starbucks located at 3619 Horizon Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the drive-thru window had been smashed and the cash registers had been disturbed.

Officers initially located and detained three male juveniles in the Walmart parking lot on Horizon Boulevard and recovered merchandise taken from Starbucks. Bensalem Police with the assistance of Upper Southampton Police subsequently located and detained five additional male juveniles who had been observed running from the area.

The investigation determined that all eight juveniles were involved in the burglary at Starbucks, as well as multiple confirmed theft from a vehicles in a nearby neighborhood. All eight juveniles were identified and released to their parents or guardians pending further investigation.

The juveniles are also suspected of being involved in additional attempted thefts in and around the Neshaminy Square Shopping Center and nearby residential developments. Those investigations remain ongoing and it is requested that any business owners with video footage from overnight review it and share anything found with Bensalem Police.

All eight juveniles are from Philadelphia and will be charged with Burglary, Criminal Trespass, Criminal Mischief, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Theft from a Motor Vehicle, Receiving Stolen Property, Criminal Conspiracy, and Loitering and Prowling at Night.
