Bensalem Economic Development Cooperation Highlight Progress & Accomplishments of 2025

Bensalem’s Economic Development Cooperation sent out a newsletter highlighting accomplishments they made in the community in 2025. 

In the newsletter sent out by Executive Director Robert Norkus, the board highlighted the following accomplishments in the past year: 

-Providing resources and guidance to local businesses for zoning issues, talent sourcing, and funding inquiries

-Launching a survey for residents to provide feedback to the board on businesses and or services they’d like to see in the township. Survey can be found here 

-Retail theft being down 27% for 2025 and crime closure rate being 71% thanks to the Secure Theft Reduction Task Force, made in collaborations with Bensalem Police, the Mayors Office, and the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office. 

More then half a million dollars donated to nonprofits including funding for educational resources for the Bensalem School District STEM program. 

-Proposals coming in for their strategic economic revitalization plan, proposed near the end of the year.
