Bensalem firefighters on Thursday rescued an apparent swimmer with no life jacket from the Delaware River, authorities said.
According to Bensalem Volunteer Fire Department officials, first responders were dispatched for a person in the water without a flotation device moving downstream.
Firefighters responded to Salem Harbor and staged the launch. First responders located the victim along Mud Island’s shoreline and rescued the swimmer from the waterway.
No additional information was released.
