Bensalem Hires Army, Philly Police Veteran

Bensalem Township announced Monday they hired a veteran police officer. 

Mark Wildsmith, who served as a Philadelphia Police officer in the 24th district for six years was sworn in Monday. Wildsmith is also a decorated Army Veteran serving for five years, and received a the Purple Hart Award, officials said in a press release. 

“We thank him for his service in the military and we look forward to him having a long a rewarding careeer with the Bensalem Township Police Department,” officials said.
