Bensalem Police have arrested a 39-year-old man for indecently assaulting a 6-year-old girl over the last year and the judge who arraigned set his bail at $10 million.
According to the criminal complaint, Bensalem Police became aware of suspect William Hagan on Wednesday, May 13.
Hagan lived with his girlfriend, at residence in the township, and their two daughters, a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old.
According to the criminal complaint, it was reported that sometimes when the child victim was in the car with Hagan, he would stop and climb into the back seat and use his fingers to rub her vagina.
The child victim also told investigators that on one such occasion, Hagan took her hand and placed it on his penis, the probable cause says.
These assaults often occurred when Hagan got gas at gas stations, with the latest alleged attack happening on the evening of May 12, at the Lukoil Station located at 4613 Street Rd, police said in the criminal complaint.
Similar abuses, according to police, allegedly occurred on multiple occasions, often when Hagan woke the child victim up from her nap. Hagan would reportedly use his fingers to rub various parts of her body.
Police said, the victim first told them the assaults began when she was 5-years-old.
Hagan was preliminarily arraigned by District Judge Joseph Falcone on Wednesday afternoon on charges of aggravated indecent assault of a child, endangering the welfare of a child, and corruption of minors and related offenses. He was remanded to the custody of Bucks County authorities as he was unable to post 10 percent of the $10 million dollar bail set by Falcone.
Hagan is due back in court on June 3 to answer said charges and is represented by Applebaum And Associates of Bensalem
