Bensalem Man Arrested For Strangling And Sexually Assaulting Woman

Bensalem Police have arrested a man who is said to have strangled and sexually assaulted a woman he fathered a child with.

According to the criminal complaint, Bensalem police responded to Wawa located at 4662 Bensalem Blvd. over a report of a domestic assault that had just occurred on Monday, April 13.

Police spoke to the victim who stated she was dropping off belongings for her 2-year-old son at his father’s place when Brandon Mosley assaulted her at his home in the 500 block of Trinity Court.

The victim stated that Mosley was hiding behind the door when she entered the home and he immediately strangled her.

The victim lost consciousness for a brief moment before Mosley forced her into his basement where he allegedly sexual assaulted her, police said in court records.

After the sexual assault, Mosley mounted over the victim who was lying on the ground, placing his forearm across her throat and stated he was going to kill her, said police in court records.

Mosley was arraigned on April 14 by on-call Judge Timothy J. Barton on felony strangulation and aggravated assault charges. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 13 in Judge Michael Gallagher’s court. He has no attorney of record, according to court records.
