Bensalem Officer and K9 win 15 K on “America’s Top Dog”

A Bensalem K9 and his handler earned national attention last week when they finished first in a televised competition. 

Bowie and his handler Robert Schwarting bear out competitors  competed on Wednesday’s episode of America’s Top Dog on A&E winning  $10,000 with an additional $5,000 for a charity of their choice the Women’s Animal Center. 

On Tuesday there will be ceremony at the Woman’s Animal Center beginning at 2 pm with Schwarting, Bowie and Bensalem officials in which the donation will be made. 

On Wednesday the duo once again will be competing on the show looking to win “America’s Top Dog” honors and $25,000.00
