Bensalem Officers Recognized for Heroism & Performance

Bensalem Township Police officers were recognized recently for performance and acts of heroism.

Officer Robert Schwarting was honored by the Citizen’s Crime Commission with the Bucks County “Outstanding Police Performance” award for his proactive arrests, gun seizures, and the work he does with the community through the Police Athletic League(PAL) and the Bensalem Township K9 Unit.

Officer Steve Ambs, Officer Samuel Ladd and Officer Kenneth Branford were honored by the Delaware Valley Association of Professional Police Officials with the Bucks County “Legion of Excellence” award for their heroic actions to save a man’s life when they rescued him from an apartment fire in August 2021. Please help us congratulate these outstanding police officers.
