A 36-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly breaking into a local dealership, stealing a customer’s car, and later returning to the property, according to the Bensalem Township Police Department.
Officers initially responded to Faulkner Toyota, located at 2425 Old Lincoln Highway, at 11:53 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. Dealership employees reported to police that a customer’s Toyota Corolla had been stolen from the premises. said police.
The investigation revealed that on June 18, 2026, a male, later identified as Marsell Crowder, entered the collision center by gaining access through a garage door panel. Once inside, Crowder took the keys to the Toyota Corolla and was last seen leaving the property in the vehicle, traveling south on Lincoln Highway into Philadelphia. The vehicle was later recovered unoccupied on June 26, 2026, by the Philadelphia Police Department after it had fled from police during numerous attempted traffic stops, according to what police wrote in the affidavit.
On July 3, 2026, at approximately 1:26 a.m., Crowder returned to Faulkner Toyota and attempted to gain entry into numerous vehicles on the property before triggering an alarm and fleeing the area. Responding officers identified Crowder as an individual with whom they had previously had contact with at another local business.
On July 13, 2026, at 2:05 a.m., police responded to the report of a male inside a closed business in the Neshaminy Interplex. Officers made contact with the suspect, who initially attempted to provide a false name before being positively identified through a police records check. . Once identified, it was also confirmed Crowder had an active arrest warrant out of Delaware County for drug possession, police said.
Crowder was taken into custody without incident and was found to be in possession of controlled substances, the probable cause alleges.
Crowder was charged with multiple counts of burglary, criminal trespass, motor vehicle theft and other related offenses. Crowder was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Joseph Falcone, who set bail at 10% of $200,000.00. Crowder was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 5 and currently has no attorney of record, according to online court records.
