Bensalem Police announced Wednesday they have arrested an “online predator” who has an open case in Camden County New Jersey on similar charges.
According to police, on June 13, 2026, 30-year-old Bo Branstetter of Bensalem Township, began conversing on a social media/dating app with a female who he believed to be 13 years old and attending 8th grade.
During the initial conversation, Branstetter, said he wanted to engage in sexual acts and requested that the juvenile send explicit photographs of herself, police said.
Branstetter at that time sent several sexually explicit photos and videos of himself, court records show.
Branstetter continued his conversation over the next several days, reiterating his intentions to engage in sexual acts with the juvenile, and set up to meet the juvenile on June 23, 2026 for a sexual encounter.
Branstetter on June 23 drove from his home to meet up with the juvenile but instead was met by Bensalem Township Police who took him into custody without incident.
Branstetter, police said, is currently out on bail for similar charges in Camden County, was charged with unlawful contact with a minor, sexual abuse of children , and other related charges.
He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Michael Gallagher and remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $5,000,000.00. bail.
He is due back in court on July 1 and has no attorney of record, according to online court records.
