Bensalem Township on Monday announced the promotion of two police officer.
Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo and Director of Public Safety William McVey presided over the promotion ceremonies in council chambers, a press release said.
Dan Errigo was promoted to the rank of Sgt. and Sgt Kevin Howard was promoted to the rank of Corporal.
The ceremony was attended by friends, family and fellow officers.
Sergeant Errigo and Corporal Howard will be an integral part of the supervisory staff here at the Bensalem Township Police Department officials said.
