Bucks DA: Enjoy the Eagles in the Super Bowl Safely, Fans Don’t Let Fans Drive Drunk

The Eagles are back in the Super Bowl and we know everyone in Bucks County and the Philadelphia region wants to celebrate.

But before you do, please have a game plan for watching responsibly. The U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is teaming up with the PA DUI Association to remind football fans everywhere that Fans Don’t Let Fans Drive Drunk.

Super Bowl LIX will be played this Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025, and there will be increased law enforcement patrols with the goal of keeping everyone safe by making sure they have a plan to get home safely.

Whether you are attending a party or going to a bar or restaurant, make a game plan and follow these simple tips for a safe and happy evening:

  • Remember it is never okay to drink and drive. Designate a sober driver or plan to use a ride service, call a taxi, or a sober friend to get you home safely.
  • Be a responsible host and make sure none of your guests have had too much to drink.
  • If available, use your community’s sober ride program.

Enjoy the game, but most of all, be safe.

One more thing, “Fly Eagles Fly!”
