A Bensalem man stands accused sharing/receiving “dozens” of pornographic images of children that were flagged by children’s advocate agency.

In late June of 2025, Bensalem Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division began investigating a series of social media accounts that were flagged by the National Center for Missing Exploitation (NCMEC) as being involved in the trading of child pornography, said police in a press release.

The accounts in question were found to be heavily involved in the sharing of child pornography over the course of several months, and among the dozens of images shared or received by the suspect were depictions of prepubescent children, as young as 4 or 5, being sexually assaulted. The social media accounts’ contents also included messaging threads between the suspect and other users in which they fantasize about engaging in sexual acts with minors.

Police were able to trace the social media activity from all of the accounts to a particular address in Bensalem Township. On Wednesday, July 16 2025, Bensalem Police executed a search warrant at the address in question, located on the 3600 block of Kingston Way, investigators said.

At that time, police were able to identify the operator of the accounts in question to be 42 year old John Breslin. Breslin also admitted to police that he was the creator and user of the accounts. Breslin was arrested and charged with felony dissemination of child pornography and possession of child pornography, as well as criminal use of a communication facility. He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Joseph P. Falcone, who set bail at  10 percent of $1,000,000. He was remanded to custody of Bucks County Correctional Facility where he awaits his next court date, scheduled for August 20.

Thomas Michael Joachim, Esq, is representing Breslin according to online court records.
