A Kintenrsville man who thought he was chatting with a 12 year-old girl on social media showed up expecting to have a sexual encounter with her brought candy and condoms with him according Bensalem Township Police last week.

According to Bensalem authorities, on Monday, July 16, 2023, Eliseo Caraballo, 35 years old, began conversing with an alleged 12-year-old female on a social media app.

The two would continue to message one another over the course of several days.  During those chats, Caraballo asked the juvenile numerous sexually-charged questions and began indicating that he wanted to engage in sexual acts with her.  On numerous occasions, Caraballo asked the juvenile for nude photographs of herself and also sent her an explicit photograph of his genitals.

Caraballo, one week later, arranged to meet what he thought was a 12-year-old girl  for a sex. The apparent alleged sex fiend traveled from his home in Kintnersville, PA.  Bensalem Police were waiting at the location of the meet and took Caraballo into custody.

He was found, according to police, to have condoms and candy in his possession.

Caraballo was charged with attempted rape and indecent assault of a child under the age of 13, corruption of minors, and related offenses.  He was arraigned by District Justice Daniel Baranoski, denied bail, and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.

“We wish to acknowledge the commendable efforts of the Bensalem Township Police Officers who have been involved in these investigations. Their proactive approach to identifying and apprehending these dangerous predators will go a long way in preventing the victimization of countless children in the future.
