Bensalem Police are looking for an alleged thief who changed barcodes between two items at Lowes in order to pay significantly cheaper price for a vacuum cleaner.

Police say the theft occurred last Saturday at Lowes when the tattooed male suspect switched the bar code on a $400 dollar Dyson vaccum cleaner and went through the self checkout by scanning a barcode for a item valued at $24.99 and walked out of the home improvement outlet.

An employee attempted to stop him from leaving the store, but he fled in a newer model blue Volkswagen SUV that did not have a registration plate on it, said police.

This is one of the best videos we could have of this thief.  If you know him, send us an anonymous tip here or contact Bensalem Police at (215) 633-3719.
