A fire ripped through a Croydon home sitting just off Neshaminy Creek in Bristol Township with three people escaping safely, fire officials said.
Fire crews from Bristol and Bensalem Townships were dispatched to the 800 block of Sixth Avenue at 4:15, according to Bucks County Emergency Services.
Bristol Township Deputy Fire Marshal Alex DelVecchio said the fire started in the area of a power strip in a bedroom with three people fleeing the flames unharmed.
Witnesses on scene said it took firefighters no more than 20 minutes to take control of the blaze before it was “placed.”
As fire crews arrived on scene, tipsters said, a light rain began to fall possibly making the battle with the fire possibly easier.
State Road from 4th to 6th Ave was blocked off by fire police as they assisted township police with controlling motorist traffic.

The home, which sits just of a Neshaminy Creek was badly damaged and as a result the occupant is receiving supportive services from the American Red Cross.
No injuries were reported
