Cops: Suspect Offers to Help Victim at Bensalem ATM; Makes Off with Debit Card, Fraudulent Transactions Follow

Bensalem authorities are seeking the community’s help with identifying three suspects in an active and ongoing bank fraud investigation.

On December 27, 2024, at approximately 8:32 p.m., it was reported that a female victim attempted to make a deposit in the at the PNC Bank ATM located at 3707 Hulmeville Rd. in Bensalem Township, police said.

The victim had trouble making a deposit at the ATM, and an unknown male driving of a Gray Minivan offered to help her.  The deposit transaction was not completed, and the female left the bank, mistakenly leaving her debit card and pin number behind, police said.

Afterward, the suspect at the ATM took the female’s PNC debit card and made numerous unauthorized transactions using the card.  The suspect had two accomplices who used this PNC debit card to make two unauthorized money order purchases at the United States Post Office at 9925 Bustleton Ave in Philadelphia on December 28, 2024.
