Hero Family Members Recognized by Mayor, Public Safety Director

Bensalem officials celebrated members of a local family Wednesday after they saved a two-old infant performing CPR.

Mayor Joseph  DiGirolamo, Public Safety Director William McVey and members of Bensalem Township Public Safety, visited the Badalov family today to recognize the life saving efforts done by Veysal and Zhafar Badalov.

They performed CPR on a two-year old family member who was found unconscious.

Their efforts saved the child’s life, Bensalem public safety officials say.

They will be formally recognized at a future council meeting. This incident highlights the importance of CPR training for anyone with children, officials said in a press release.
