Philadelphia Man Charged for Robberies in Bensalem, Warminster, Second Suspect Sought

Bensalem Police earlier this week arrested and charged a Philadelphia man for three robberies in Bucks County.

According to Police, Jamell Oglesby, 30 of Philadelphia was taken into custody On June 29 when  members of the FBI Bucks/Mont Safe Streets Task force,  located  a black Lexus used as the alleged getaway car in a robbery at a Walmart in Warminster, earlier in the  month. 

During this investigation it was learned that these two suspects were wanted for two similar robberies in Bensalem. One on Friday, May 20, 2022 and the second earlier the same day as the Warminster robbery, said Police in a press release earlier this week.

FBI Bucks/Mont Safe Streets Task force, located the black vehicle in Philadelphia, Police said when they observed a black male enter the black Lexus and drive away. Philadelphia police conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and detained the driver who was Oglesby,

Detectives from Bensalem and Warminster interviewed Oglesby who admitted to his involvement in all three robberies, Police said.

Oglesby was arraigned by District Justice Terry Hughes and sent to Bucks County Correctional facility on 10% of $750,000 bail charged with 12 counts of robbery related offenses, three counts of simple assault and three counts of terroristic threats.  He tentatively scheduled for a preliminary hearing on July 13.

Police in both jurisdictions are still actively looking for the second subject involved in these robberies, public safety officials said.
