The Bensalem woman police were looking for was located, however, she was found dead on Wednesday, police said.
Laura Abbasi walked away from her home on the 700 block of Clinton Avenue, Bensalem, around 8:00 p.m. December 29. She was in the midst of a behavioral health crisis and had possibly ingested all of her prescription medications before leaving her home.
“Laura was found today, but it was not the outcome we wanted” Bensalem Police said.

Bensalem Township Police are seeking the public’s help with locating a woman who went missing and may be in the midst of a behavioral health crisis.
Last evening Laura Abbasi walked away from her home in the 700 block of Clinton Avenue, Bensalem, around 8:00 p.m. Police say she has a mental health issue and possibly ingested all of her prescription medications before leaving her home.
She is described as a 52-year-old white female, 5’6″ tall, 155 lbs., with long brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a black hoodie and pants.

“Let’s keep an eye out and do everything we can to get Laura back to her family safe and sound,” Bensalem Police ask.
