An apartment fire at an Bensalem Apartment complex is under investigation by fire authorities Friday afternoon.
Fire crews were dispatched at 3:03 p.m. to Bucks Meadow Apartments at the 3100 block on Knights Road for a reported fire in a first floor apartment.
Fire crews, arriving on scene, reported smoke was showing from a first-floor apartment, with fire in the bedroom, Bensalem Fire officials said.

Firefighters put a water line in service, knocking the fire back and subsequently placing it under control minutes later.
One “wheelchair-bound” resident was safely rescued from the building. First responders checked for extension finding negative results.
Cause of the fire remains under investigation, first responder officials said. It remains unclear as of publication time if any injuries were reported and if the fire victim has been displaced as a result of the fire.
