Live Summer Storm Blog: Lower Bucks Slammed with Rain and Flooding

Short while ago Bristol Township declared Disaster Emergency due to flooding a social media post reads. Officials say the will provide information and details on how to get county and federal help.

As of this moment this is the only official information reported to Lower Bucks Source in response to the storm There have been a number of unconfirmed vehicle accidents in the area, including one near Deon Square on  South Oxford Valley Rd. Witnesses say first responders are on scene.

Flooded Streets in Bristol Borough are slowly draining, however residential damages to a number of homes is being reported, Neighbors have been trying to help one another clear flooded basements. but so far no injures reported.

The current thunderstorms with flooding slamming Lower Bucks County is causing hazards everywhere.

The National Weather Service, which has issued alerts warnings for the area throughout the day is reporting the possibility of 60 mile per hour gusts with penny sized hail.

First Responders from Bensalem all away across to the Morrisville are receiving calls for help due to flooding and electrical related issues.

Flooding has  been reported on a number of major streets throughout the lower end of the county but so far no major injuries have been reported and power outages in the area have been minimal as of 6 p.m.
