Earlier this week a Philadelphia man entered the offices of his former employer and waved a gun at employees, police said.
On Monday, September 28, 2026, at approximately 1:32 PM, Bensalem Township Police responded to 1150 Northbrook Drive for a report of an armed subject. Police were advised that a male, later identified as 49-year-old Wilson Roberts of Philadelphia, had entered an office building and displayed a firearm toward co-workers.
Upon arrival, officers located Roberts inside a vehicle in the parking lot. Roberts exited the vehicle, and as officers attempted to detain him, he attempted to flee on foot. Officers were able to bring him to the ground, where he continued to resist and assault police before ultimately being taken into custody. A fully loaded Smith & Wesson .38-caliber revolver was recovered from Roberts.
Roberts was charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possessing an instrument of crime, resisting arrest and other related offenses
He was arraigned by Magisterial District Justice Kevin Wagner, Sr., who denied bail. Roberts was subsequently remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
