Police, Feds Arrest Four in 2 Separate Investigations, Netting Drugs, Guns and Cash

Bensalem Special Investigations Unit(SIU) along with FBI agents and members of the Bucks/Montgomery County Safe Streets Task Force conducted two large scale narcotics seizures simultaneously, on Thursday, August 18, 2022.

After a three month investigation, Bensalem SIU along with agents from the FBI, conducted surveillance at a Bensalem hotel and subsequently arrested Korey Mancera, 30 years old and Veronica Wheeler, 26 years old.  They were both charged with Manufacture, Sale or Delivery of a Controlled Substance and related offenses.  Both females were from Kansas City, KS and Korey Mancera had a Mexican passport in her possession.  During the arrest, police seized 4 Kilos of suspected Fentanyl with an estimated street value of 1.3 Million Dollars.  Korey Mancera and Veronica Wheeler were arraigned by District Justice Frank Peranteau, Sr. and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $1,000,000 bail.

At the same time, Bensalem Detectives, members of the Bucks/Montgomery County Safe Streets Task Force and the FBI were following up on information about a methamphetamine and heroin ring based out of the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

Police conducted surveillance in the parking lot of a local Bensalem store and arrested Jonathan Vazquez, 29 years old and Angel Molina, 26 years old, both from Philadelphia. Police then executed a search warrant at a home in the 3200 block of Hurley Street in Philadelphia.  During the execution of the search warrant police seized 332 grams of Crack Cocaine, 375 grams of Hydro, 454 Grams of Cocaine, 175 grams of Heroin/Fentanyl, 252 grams of Methamphetamine and 89 Xanax pills with a total street value of approximately $150,000.  Also seized was $37,000 in US currency, an assault rifle and 4 handguns.

Jonathan Vasquez and Angel Molina were were both charged with Manufacture, Sale or Delivery of a Controlled Substance and related offenses.  They were arraigned by District Justice Frank Peranteau, Sr. and sent to the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $1,000,000 bail.

The Bensalem Township Police Department thanked the FBI, the Bucks/Montgomery County Safe Streets Task Force and the Philadelphia Police Department for their ongoing assistance and commitment to rid our streets of these dangerous drugs and drug dealers.
