The Bensalem Township Police Department, in partnership with KIA USA and the Pennsylvania State Police Auto Theft Unit, will distribute free steering wheel locks to owners of eligible KIA vehicles as part of an ongoing effort to combat vehicle theft.
Nationwide and local reports of Kia’s targeted by car thieves has been and still remains an ongoing issue .
Eligible Vehicles: • KIA models years 2012–2020 • Vehicles that use a traditional metal key to start the ignition Not Eligible: • Push-button start vehicles • Key fob ignition systems

Steering wheel locks will be provided free of charge courtesy of KIA USA while supplies last.
This initiative is designed to help protect KIA owners from a theft trend that has affected communities nationwide.
Distribution is Wednesday, June 17 from 3:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. at Bensalem Police Headquarters 2400 Byberry Road, Bensalem, PA, officials said in a release.
