The man who led local police on a hot pursuit through Lower Bucks County, authorities say, was arrested Tuesday evening and now faces charges filed by Bristol, Bensalem and the Pennsylvania State Police.
District Judge John Galloway arraigned Ryan Laskowski in three sperate hearings on multiple counts of fleeing, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and a myriad of related offenses.
Galloway remanded the U Haul police chase suspect to Bucks County Correctional Facility, setting bail at 10 percent of $250,000.00 for each of the three cases filed against Laskowski.
According to Police at about 7:45 on Tuesday morning a resident of Newtown Pa, requested that Bristol Township Police check on the well-being of her adult son, Laskowski, who was reportedly in the area of Bath Road & Veterans Highway in Bristol Township.
He was believed to be in a rented U-Haul truck past its rental time period, authorities said.
Lt. Sean Cosgrove said police officers located the U-Haul, attempted to stop the vehicle, but Laskowski did not yield, committing various traffic offenses. He crashed into another vehicle before fleeing.
Officers terminated their pursuit for public safety. At 8:00 a.m., U-Haul reported the vehicle was stolen, with Bristol Township Police notifying Bensalem authorities the U-Haul truck that had struck a civilian motorist before fleeing onto Interstate 95, was headed there way.
Laskowski was positively identified and a warrant was obtained for his arrest at about 11:30 a.m., Cosgrove said.

Laskowski, according to Bensalem authorities, struck a Pennsylvania State Police patrol vehicle and multiple civilian motorists.
Troopers later reengaged Laskowski in another high-speed pursuit, during which he intentionally struck a Bensalem Police Department patrol unit. He also slammed into a fence, and a fire hydrant near the ACME store at 2301 Bristol Road, police said.

Just before 3 p.m., Cosgrove said, another Bristol Township officer observed the U-Haul vehicle stopped in a parking lot near New Falls Road and Woerner Avenue in Bristol Township. Attempts were made to contact and detain the operator.
Again, Laskowski fled, Cosgrove said.
Officers from various law enforcement agencies pursued the U-Haul when it was involved in multiple crashes on the highway.
Laskowski, 38, a Levittown resident of Bristol Twp. was eventually taken into custody and medically cleared for incarceration.
Laskowski has a court date set for Jan 8 in in Bensalem and Jan 13 for the Bristol Twp. chases.
Prior to 2025 Laskowski had no arrest record in Bucks County, according to court online records.
