A 69 year-old Bristol man was sentenced to almost two years in Bucks County Jail earlier this week as part of a plea deal with County prosecutors for felony drug distribution.
Common Pleas Court Judge Jeffery Finely sentence Robert Flynn to up to 23 months, plus obtaining a drug and alcohol and mental health evaluation and abide by any recommendations by the Bucks Department of Parole/Probation, according to online public records.
During the warrant the search, police confiscated a large cache of drugs, including methamphetmine, marijuana, and mushrooms. Police said they also found money, scales and supplies used to package illicit substances.
At the time of the search Chief of Police of Joe Moors said the investigation was a multi-agency effort with help from concerned persons in the community.
“The arrest is a result of the community, the police department, and the Bucks County District Attorney’s office Drug Task Force working together.”
Judge Finley gave Flynn a little more than two months time served credit as he posted bail after his arrest on April 13.
Flynn pleaded guilty to one count of manufacture, delivery, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of drug related offenses.
