Arrest Warrant Issued for Suspect in Hit-and-Run Death Last November

Bristol Borough Police filed an arrest warrant for Bristol Township man accused of killing a local man in a fatal hit and run, last year

According to online court records, Amado Garcia, 41 of Croydon is the man police say struck and killed a Bristol resident in November 2021 and then fled the scene.

According to the arrest warrant, Garcia when apprehended, will be charged with one felony count of causing an accident in which the victim dies, two misdemeanor counts of causing an accident and or death and one count of hindering apprehension, and related traffic summary offenses.

The arrest warrant was filed just about two weeks ago, court records show.

The fatal hit and run occurred just after midnight Tuesday, November 23. by a silver vehicle Commerce Circle and Bath Street, Police said.

The suspect vehicle, police said at the time, suffered heavy front-end damage, and possibly a shattered windshield.

Police did not release the name of the victim at the time of the fatal hit-and-run.

Now Chief of Police Joe Moors said at the time, investigators believed to be headed towards the Croydon/Bensalem area.
