Borough Officers Take Part in ‘No Shave November’ to benefit Bristol Little League

Maybe you noticed Borough Police Officers looking a bit unshaven while out in the community last month. That’s because members of the department were taking part in “No- Shave November.”

The event, held nationwide is usually dedicated to raising funds for a societal cause. This year officers raised funds for the Bristol Borough Little League with policemen personally donating funds and the Police Benevolent Association matching the total collected.

Officers presented League President Stacey Dragon with the donation this past weekend.

Police officials said Borough Police specifically chose to donate to the little league because they wanted their efforts to benefit the children they protect and serve.

The total amount of the donation was not announced by officials.
