Bristol Man Charged for Smashing Vehicles in Drunken Rampage

Bristol Borough Police arrested a local man for smashing five vehicles this past January. 

Johnny Spears Jr., 37 of Bristol was charged Monday with five counts of criminal mischief, one count of disorderly conduct and a related offense for  his attack of five vehicles this past  January. 

Police were called to the intersection of Monroe Street and Trenton Avenue on January 17 close to 8:30 p.m. for reports of a blonde haired man “smashing cars and breaking things,” the criminal complaint says. 

Spears rampage caused just over $2400.00 in damages, police say, as he was “uncooperative” and “intoxicated also. 

Spears  is scheduled to appear in Bristol Borough District Court on April 29 to answer to the charges.
