Bristol Man Pleads Guilty to Disorderly Conduct Charges for Terrorizing Locals

A Bristol man accused of terrorizing neighbors and and allegedly assaulting a Bristol Borough Police officer pleaded guilty to three counts of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and one count of public drunkenness, earlier this month.

Christopher Dow 38 entered his guilty pleas to the four offenses on October 3, in front of Common Pleas Court Judge Jeffrey L Finely, according to online court records.

Dow was originally charged with nine offenses according to the criminal complaint filed on April 21. The Commonwealth withdrew charges in four offenses at Dow’s preliminary hearing in July, which included the count of aggravated assault.

Dow was represented by criminal defense specialists at the prelim he did not attend, court records show.

Dow, Police said, punched a vehicle, racked a gun, threw a large piece of wood at a moving vehicle and tried to start a fight on Lafayette Street but was stopped by neighbors.

Judge Finley sentenced Dow to 12 months probation, comply with all rules and regulations of the Bucks County Probation and Parole Department, pay costs and fines, and be assessed for Drug and Alcohol treatment by a approved county assessment site.

Dow, shortly after sentencing was imposed commented under the original arrest story.

“Hey so you should review the court records. This story is such complete crap most of the charges were dropped at the preliminary hearing due to lack of evidence. Testimony was *perjured and it ended with a no contest plea to nothing more than disorderly conduct.”
