A two-vehicle crash on a bitter cold Christmas night in Bristol led Police to take one man into custody Sunday night.
The accident took place just beyond Route 13 and Beaver Dam Road southbound lane a little after 10:15 pm.
Bristol Township and Borough Police were dispatched to the accident scene with Bucks County Rescue Squad showing up minutes later.
Images sent into Lower Bucks Source depict one of the two vehicles facing a northerly direction in the southbound lane just beyond the Beaver Dam-Rt 13 intersection with rear end damage.
Police re-routed traffic flow closing off motorist travel moving south, while collecting evidence.
A source on the scene said a woman approached one of the two vehicles in the accident, saying a family member of hers was taken into custody by a Bristol Borough Police officer.
A second source at the scene moments after the crash, also said they saw police take a man into custody.
A review of the online county court records system shows no arrests were made as of 2:30 am Monday morning.
Witnesses at the scene said no accident victims were transported to local medical facilities for treatment.
