Cops: Man in Wheelchair Struck by Vehicle Tuesday

The Bristol Borough Police Department are investigating an accident in which a man in a wheelchair was struck by a vehicle Tuesday. 

Police responded to the intersection of Wood and Washington Streets finding a 63 year old male from Bristol in the roadway, officials said. 

The man in wheelchair was transported to Lower Bucks Hospital by the Bucks County Rescue Squad for treatment of minor injuries, police said. 

Authorities said the motorist is a 19 year-old female from Bristol and the accident remains under investigation as of Wednesday morning.
