Bristol Borough Police are seeking the public’s help with identifying a truck that drove through a football field embroiled in a recent controversy.

Police say the pictured white two door truck “damaged” the football field on Trenton Avenue earlier this month.

The field became the focus of debate in recent weeks as a Bristol Borough based youth football league sought to use the Trenton Road field.

Police declined to comment on whether the potential act of vandalism was connected to the recent debate about use of the field by the football league or not.

Prior to the incident The Bristol Borough School District was performing work to the field area which has precluded use by any organizations until further notice, officials said last week.

Estimated damage to the field and how this incident impacts future use was not made available at time of publication.

Borough police please ask anyone from the public who recognizes the vehicle to please contact Detective William Davis at 215-788-7813, ext: 2425. Or you can submit an anonymous tip by clicking here

Why would you attempt to put the football program in this article clearly they had nothing to do with it they’re fighting to use that property that they always have for 10 years. 2nd off going by your pictures and what says a month ago there was no problem between the school and the football program. You should really do better reporting.
