Cops: Social Media is being Used to Incite Violence

Bristol Borough Police put out the following statement Tuesday night in response to numerous posts about an alleged assault.

Police said a recent report of woman being assaulted by four men at a local convenience store was “False.”

A Subsequent post called for violence against others in revenge for this FALSE post, said police.

The public is strongly urged to get their news from legitimate professional news sources, police said.
