Bristol Man Jailed for Strangulation Charged in 2nd Assault, Arson Related Warrant Filed

A Bristol Borough man already in jail for allegedly strangling and beating a woman is in deeper trouble Friday as he’s been charged for assaulting another women and now has an additional arrest warrant for arson related offenses filed against him.

David Krescanko, 42 of Bristol currently in Bucks County Prison will be officially arraigned at a later date on one count of reckless burning or exploding, two counts of possession of explosive-incendiary material, one count of criminal mischief, two counts of possession of a  instrument of crime with intent, and one count of disorderly conduct.

Krescanko it is alleged lit a neighbors vehicle on fire in the early morning hours of Friday July 8, because he believed the victim had called the police on him recently.

Bristol Fire Companies 50 and 52 responded to the fire call that morning putting it out.

Bristol Borough Fire Chief, in request for information about the car fire, referred this publication to the Police Department.

“For information concerning the vehicle fire. Please contact the police department. They are handling the investigation,” Slack said.

After Sunday’s arrest of Krescanko the Bristol Borough Inspections department,deemed the home he was living in  “unfit for human occupancy” at 438 Washington St.

On Tuesday, Police filed a second assault case against him that occurred on June 29, also.

In that case he’a accused of hitting, shoving, and biting a woman, because a family member of hers reported to police he was stealing electricity from a neighboring property to power the “flop house” he was living in, according to that criminal complaint.

Allegedly, the suspect threatened the woman, saying “you’re going to get it tonight.”

Krescanko was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats. and two related summary offenses for the alleged assault.

He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on August 10, the same day, he is scheduled to appear for the first filed against him last weekend.

 

On Friday Lower Bucks Source was denied access to the arrest warrant filed, according to online court records, Thursday. Although the case is filed on the public assess system. and Krescanko,  was jailed last Sunday, he poses no public safety risk and there is zero chance of  compromising police investigative activities.

Court personnel told the publication Judge Frank W. Peranteau Sr  was unavailable to please come back Monday.
