Bristol Borough and Bristol Township Fire Companies put out an electrical fire at a Cedar Street home on Thursday afternoon.

Fire crews were dispatched at 4:37 p.m. to an electrical fire inside a residence on the 440 block of Cedar Street.

The responding fire companies found an outlet broken down and caught fire on the third floor. However, the fire was isolated to the outlet, said Deputy Fire Chief A.J. DeAngelis.

The fire department secured power to the residence and Bristol Borough L&I was notified, DeAngelis said.
