Correction: The original version of this story reported the woman’s body was discovered on the 200 block of Hayes Street as told to us by a community source. That information is incorrect, as the body was clearly discovered in the area of 1900 Wilson Ave. We apologize for the mistake. The story has been updated to reflect new information– J.B.
I feel as though it was very insensitive to write that the family member had no reaction to the person’s death. That is an opinion not a fact. The person could have been in shock.
Susan it was an observation made by the tipster for the story which connotes someone in shock. Lack of outside visible reaction frequently happens death scenes especially if the death is unexpected.

The car was parked on Wilson, not Hayes. (the exit of the alley is Benson Place)

Was it too much effort to spell out the word Wednesday? This headline looks like it was written by a child.
