Fire Marshal: Levittown Lanes Blaze Under Investigation

The Falls Township Fire Marshal said the fire at Levittown Lanes remains under investigation.

The Falls Twp Fire Company was dispatched to the bowling alley located on New Falls Road at 5:10 am Fire Marshal Rich Dippolito said in a statement.

Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire in the rear of the building that was extending throughout the rest of the building.

On the initial alarm, Falls was assisted by Fairless Hills, Levittown #1, Levittown #2, William Penn, Edgely, Yardley, and Morrisville Fire companies .

A second alarm was struck shortly thereafter, as well as a 3rd alarm which brought fire companies from all over Lower Bucks, he said.

The raging fire witnesses said,  led to the roof of the bowling alley caving in.

Plumes of smoke could be seen throughout the area as the fire raged on.

“The fire was not brought under control until approximately 9:30 am” Dippolito said

Third District Fire Company posted awe inspiring images of the fire, 

The Croydon Fire Company posted a 1:30 second video Wednesday afternoon, 

The investigation is under way by the Falls Fire Marshal’s Office, who are also being assisted by the Bristol Township Fire Marshal’s Office as well as the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF),” said Dippolito.
