Jeep Slams into Parked Vehicles, Driver Hospitalized

A Tuesday late night wreck sent one man to the hospital after he slammed into three parked vehicles and his jeep flipped on its side in Bristol Borough.

The crash happened just before 11:30 p.m. on Bath Street just beyond Howell Street.

Bristol Borough fire companies, Station 25, 50, 51, and 52 were dispatched for an auto extrication, according to the Bucks County Emergency Alert system.
Arriving companies found a Jeep on its side with the driver trapped after striking the parked vehicles, fire officials said.

“Crews stabilized the Jeep to prevent possible movement and worked to gain access and extricate the driver.  Crews used hydraulic cutters and spreaders to gain access to the driver who was then removed and transported to the hospital by Bucks County Rescue Squad,” Bristol Borough Fire Chief Herb Slack said.

The publication was directed to contact Bristol Borough Police for additional information. Chief of Police Joe Moors did not respond to the inquiry. As of Thursday evening, there were no traffic or accident related charges filed in the Bristol Borough Court system.
