An unidentified man was sent to a local hospital after his red Lexus SUV flipped on its side after clipping a pickup truck and then rescued by Bristol Firefighters late Saturday night.
The crash occurred in the 600 block of Pond Street at 9:21 p.m., according to Bucks County Emergency Communications.
Fire crews arriving on scene discovered a red Lexus SUV lying on its driver’s side diagonally across both lanes on Pond Street.
Bristol Borough firefighters worked feverishly to extricate the motorist from the SUV using the “Jaws of Life” tool. Once freed he was placed on a stretcher and taken to an area hospital for treatment.
It is unclear what type or severity of injury the driver sustained in the crash.
Lynch collision towed the wrecked vehicle from the scene.
Pond St from Dorrance to Beaver was blocked off to motorist traffic for at least 90 minutes by fire police.
No charges were filed by Borough Police connected to the crash as of Sunday morning according to online court records. .
