Man Struck and Killed in Hit-and-Run on Rt 13 in Bristol Borough Tuesday

An unidentified pedestrian was struck and killed on Route 13 in Bristol Borough early Tuesday by a hit- and-run motorist

According to police, the hit -and- run and run occurred around 12:15 am, when an unknown vehicle struck and killed a man in the area of 214 Bristol Pike.

Officer in Charge, Sgt Joe Moors said the victim was transported to Lower Bucks Hospital by the Bucks County Rescue Squad where he was pronounced dead.

Moors said the investigation is “active and ongoing” as the department is seeking  information from the public hoping to identify the striking motorist and their vehicle

Moors declined to comment if the department had any leads on who the motorist is.

We expect to release additional information on the incident at a later time, he  did say

A woman was struck and killed in August in the same location, but during daytime hours. 

Moors declined to release the name of the man killed saying family notifications were still ongoing
