A multi-vehicle crash on Pond Street in Bristol Borough ended with a motorcyclist’s death Friday evening.
The crash occurred in the area of Dorrance and Pond Street at around 5:15 p.m.
A white pickup truck driver said the motorcyclist passed and struck his truck at the intersection of Washington and Pond Sts heading towards Dorrance, where he apparently collided with a second vehicle.

Damage to the second vehicle, which appeared to be a SUV, could be seen on the drivers side quarter panel. That motorist remained on scene and spoke to police.
The front half of the motorcycle laid on the sidewalk adjacent to St Ann’s with the remaining secretion laying on the roadway.

The motorcyclist who passed away as a result of the crash has yet to be identified, police said.
The Bucks County Fatal Accident Reconstruction Team is on site assisting Bristol Borough Police.
A family member arrived on scene at St Ann’s Church about 25 minutes after the initial crash. The grief stricken woman could be heard screaming “no no no no no… ” while police tried to calm and soothe her.
Additional apparent family members and loved ones came to the Church parking searching for information and to provide each other with support.
Chief of Police Joe Moors said no information about the crash or the victims identity is being released this time. Moors took a brief moment, looked upon St Anns and said the police department sends it deepest heartfelt sympathies for their tragic loss.
An apparent Washington St resident hearing the grieving sobs of family and friends of the deceased slowly approached the group and offered them bottles of water to help tamper the grief they were feeling.

Pond St. remained closed for about two hours as investigators tried to piece together the circumstances surrounding the crash.
No additional information is being released by police at this time.
