Updated Thursday August 13 2026 5:50 p.m.

Sources are telling Lower Bucks Source (LBS) that the person in police custody is Mike Myers, husband to “Dawn”who is the woman found deceased in the home on Wood Street early Thursday morning.

Police on scene declined to confirm that Myers is the person in custody and that it is his wife who is deceased.

Family members were still being notified about the tragic events that took place earlier this morning and apparently Myers’ daughter was on scene not to long after the initial police arrival.

The same sources told Lower Bucks Source, Myers had been dealing with a recent bout of “severe anxiety and depression.”

Myers owns and operates a painting business but hasn’t worked for a little while now, tipsters told LBS.

He’s a real nice guy and has always been friendly, neighbors said.

No one in the area reported hearing any early morning gunshots coming from the home.

What was heard was the family dog “Luna” barking loudly in the backyard, neighbors said, before police arrived on scene.

Meanwhile Bucks County detectives arrived on scene at about 9 am and were in the process of applying for search warrants to enter the home, according to multiple law enforcement sources.

The death investigation is now being run out of the Bucks County District Attorney’s office, Bristol authorities said mid-morning.

Updates as new information becomes available.
