A batallion of Bristol area fire crews knocked back a shed fire from spreading any further keeping damages minimal Friday morning, officials said.
The Third District Fire Fire Company was dispatched just before 7 am and within 11 minutes after the fire erupted, it was cleared at 415 Park Avenue.
Third District Chief Howard McGoldrick said a visible fire was showing from a shed in the rear of the dwelling. A 1 3/4 line from the street side to the rear was pulled with a hydrant in front of the dwelling. The Croydon Fire Company set up on Park Ave to assist. Firefighters reported extension exposure to the garage and fence with no extension reported to the apartment above the garage.

A wooden storage section in the rear of the garage had damage to the exterior wall and underside of the roof, officials said.
The fire was placed under control minutes after 7 am, officials said.
No injuries of any kind were reported.
