Bristol Borough Police arrested one man who is in custody after an apparent shooting incident early Wednesday, authorities said.
Around the midnight hour residents on Race and and Spruce Streets reportedly heard gun fire.
Police cordoned off a section of Buckley Street beginning at the corner of Clymer Street.
Sources told Lower Bucks Source police located a handgun on Clymer St.
Chief of Police Joe Moors said the suspect was arrested and will be arraigned Wednesday morning at Bristol Borough District Court by covering District Judge Joanne Kline.

Moors declined to provide the suspect’s name and potential charges.
He said there is an active investigation taking place and a “weapon was recovered.”
More information will become available subsequent to yet to be scheduled arraignment, the chief said.
No injuries were reported, Moors said.
