Sunday Night Accident Closes Down One Lane of Rt 13 for about One-Hour

A late Sunday accident involving two vehicles at the Bristol Park Shopping Center intersection sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries witnesses say.

The accident occurred around 8:45 p.m, when a driver in the south bound lane of Rt 13 slammed into the backend drivers side of a  a business passenger van witness to the accident told Lower Bucks Source.

“I don’t think the driver of the SUV eve saw the mini van” the witness said.

Borough Police closed down one lane of the busy roadway as the vehicles were cleared from the highway with Bristol Fire Police directing traffic.

The back passenger side of the van was smashed with the front driver side of the SUV caved in due to the crash.

Fire Police officers spent a good  10 minutes clearing debris from the middle of the roadway prior to allowing traffic to return to normal speeds.

Police on scene could not comment on the accident and referred to the publication to Police Chief Steve Henry.

A review of online court documents Monday morning revealed no charges were filed connected to the accident.
